Adult Immunisation
We give tetanus and polio boosters which cover you for 10 years. Also, we offer a 'flu vaccination especially to "at risk" patients from October every year. Book in to our 'flu clinic at reception from late September onwards. Pneumonia vaccinations (which last 10 years) are available all year round.
Travel Immunisation
If you intend to go abroad on holiday or on business, you may need the protection of travel vaccinations. Book an appointment with the nurse for a "vaccs chat" if possible at least 2 months before departure. We hold a stock of vaccines in surgery.
Cervical Screening
We invite all women between the ages of 20 and 65 to have a cervical smear every 3 to 5 years. Book your appointment with the nurse. Women outside this age group are also welcome to book an appointment.
Diabetic Clinic
We hold a regular clinic for supporting diabetic patients. Ask at reception.
Asthma Clinic
Our asthma nurse holds a weekly clinic to support asthmatic patients. Ask at reception.
Hypertension Clinic
The practice nurse holds a hypertension clinic to monitor all hypertensive patients. Ask at reception.
Blood Pressure
You can book an appointment with the nurse at any time to have your blood pressure checked. Ask at reception.
Diet and Weight Clinic
If you are in need of dietary advice or would like us to monitor your weight loss, ask at reception.
Menopause Clinic
For problems associated with the menopause or hormone replacement therapy, book an appointment with the menopause nurse.
Family Planning Clinic
Advice or a confidential consultation on family planning matters is available from our FP nurse or the doctor - please ask at reception. We offer a full range of services:-
